The OPO Open 2026

The OPO Open, the annual open exhibition organised by the Old Parcels Office Artspace, opens on Saturday 14 February 2026.

Now in its fifth year, the OPO Open attracts submissions from artists across the UK, with a particularly strong representation from the northern region. The exhibition showcases a broad range of contemporary practice and highlights the depth and diversity of work being made today.

Right to Roam

Who gets to roam the countryside? Who gets to care for it?

This exhibition reflects on the history of the right to roam movement and its impact on the creation of England's National Parks and public rights of way. Bringing together artists passionate about access to our shared landscape and artefacts from the Working-Class Movement Library, this display delves into what access to the countryside means to artists.
