Continuum is a series of paintings that explores slow, incremental change. The work began with sheets of reclaimed metal salvaged from a derelict agricultural structure. Weathered by time and exposure, the surfaces carry marks and decay that speak to a quiet history of use and abandonment.
Responding to these material traces, I layer oil paint in translucent veils, allowing what lies beneath to remain partially visible. Each painting sits along a continuum of transformation, where nothing is static. The work reflects how surfaces, landscapes and memory shift gradually, shaped by time and the accumulation of experience.
